Just after sunrise, before Craig Village really wakes up, I like to walk about our yard looking at nani’s flowers. Nothing reminds me of home, of Guyana, of family and life and happiness more than the sight of this flower.
Sara Bharrat is passionate about politics and telling stories. She has over ten years of experience in media and communications and has volunteered her time in civil society for over 6 years. Sara currently works in democracy and governance development and is reading for her Master's in Electoral Policy and Administration. She hopes to leverage her experience and skills to strengthen Guyana’s political system beginning with its electoral system.
