Except for one cold Guinness and a man in a “dutty” blue body suit (he deserves a whole article) , I enjoyed nothing else at Building Expo 2013.
Within 15 minutes of arriving, my small group (including a friend who probably will not forgive me for dragging her there) had seen all the wonders of Building Expo.
I’m sure some people appreciated the house lot application aid and the access to banking officials. These were naturally helpful but really the local “building” industry has so much more to offer and I expected to see it at Building Expo.
Let me give you a quick example. I don’t remember the name of the company but it’s owned by a Mr. Bulkan. They produce lovely wooden furniture and houses. I’ll have to tell you more about this soon. Perhaps, Bulkan was not there because the average Guyanese can’t afford his products?
Sigh, I don’t have the heart to bitch about this tonight. Let’s just say that “it de buss”.
At least Building Expo had scented oils and costume jewelry on sale. Although, I have no idea what those have to do with home building.
Sharing a quick moment with you while I’m on the go.
Sara.
Scented candles give the home some kind of ambiance, I guess? lol
Lol! Perhaps :p
